GCS COVID Policy
For those joining us in person this session, please read and understand our COVID policy, linked below. An updated 2023-2024 policy will be posted prior to the start of our Fall/Winter session.
We also require the GCS COVID Waiver, linked below, to be signed and returned by all in-person singers.
Refund Policy
In case of rehearsal cancellation due to factors out of the Board’s control (for example, inclement weather), no refunds will be given. The Board will endeavour to make up the lost time by extending subsequent rehearsals, but this is not guaranteed.
Once someone has become a member, no refunds or credits will be issued if they choose to withdraw from the choir. When memberships come in, we commit to fixed expenses and cannot refund membership fees.
Shared Membership Policy
If we had our wish, there would be room for everyone to join GCS. Yet there isn’t enough space in the building to accommodate more than 110 members (plus their friends and family come concert time). Please be respectful of our shared membership “one binder, one bum” policy.
GCS members may not share their music binder with a non-member allowing the person to sit in on rehearsals without paying membership dues – and jumping ahead of those on our waiting list. Non-members are always welcome to join us for one rehearsal to check out how much fun we have.
